Position Description

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Liaison in the Home Care business. Your existing relationships and clinical experience in case management and relationship management are critical for developing a peer to peer approach for expansion of our referral base. Call points are, but not limited to Case Managers, Social Workers, Discharge Planners, and Administrators.

 

The Marketing Liaison is an experienced industry expert, and in some cases a trusted advisor by the referral sources. Building upon a strong peer to peer relationship the Marketing Liaison collaborates closely with the referral sources and the BrightStar Care of Plano administrative team to solve challenging patient needs. Ultimately these new and existing referral sources will develop into sales leads and new business.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Promote, market, and sell the BrightStar Care of Plano brand within assigned territory, meet weekly and monthly referral targets
  • Develop new referral relationships with targeted accounts
  • As the point person, establish and maintain regular communication and relationship management with case managers, social workers, discharge planners, administrators, and other referral sources
  • Conduct regular outside sales calls to potential and existing referral sources 80%+ of job function
  • Develop and lead marketing meetings in facilities, etc
  • After hours events as schedule permits to support marketing events in the community
  • Presentations to referring entities as it relates to BrightStar Care of Plano services and differentiators
  • Adhere to the highest standards of honesty, integrity, and ethical conduct
  • Contribute ideas for referral generation and sales support
  • Stay current with industry and market trends
  • Develop and maintain effective communication with the BrightStar Care of Plano office staff and referral sources
  • Educate referral sources and community regarding the referral process and BrightStar Care of Plano differentiators
  • Communicate the benefits of home healthcare services to both referral sources and consumers
  • Utilize marketing materials in an appropriate manner to grow the brand in our local community
  • Illustrate knowledge of major competitors and differentiators
  • Compile marketing plan by assessing community needs, marketing strategy/objectives, identifying key accounts and the development of specific marketing action items with measurable
  • Perform other duties as deemed appropriate by management or yourself
  • Meet or exceed referral goals
  • Drive to each potential site to conduct these calls
  • Participate in On Call Rotation

Qualifications and Skills

  • Licensed Vocational Nurse strongly preferred
  • Marketing experience with/for wound clinics, specialty pharmacies, hospice and/or other home health companies required
  • Case Management or Social Work experience preferred
  • A minimum of one-year experience in the home healthcare industry preferred
  • Proven ability to generate leads and monitor referrals, to support sales growth
  • Experience with public speaking (in addition to presentation skills). Strong at persuasive and educational writing and speaking
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook),Calendar
  • Ability to form relationships and maintain rapport with referral sources
  • Ability to listen and communicate clearly, fluently and diplomatically (both orally and in writing).
